“RICE & FOOD” Rice Factory is located in the land of Gelemenovo village, Pazardzhik Municipality. It occupies an area of 12,735 sq.m. There are nine production technological buildings with a total area of 1,940 sq. m., five silos with concrete foundations for storage of grain, three small silos for husk. Grain silos are 1,250 cbm each and any of them can store up to 1 000 tons of raw material. An 80-ton electronic weighing scale, a concrete ramp and an auto channel are installed in the property. The entire site is asphalted and surrounded by a metal fence.
Two technological lines are installed in the Rice Factory as follows:
– Technological line for processing of rice paddy with a 24-hour capacity of 30 tons.
-Technological line with a 24-hour capacity of 120 tons. This line is brand new and has not yet been put into operation.
Currently we are working with the small line with capacity for processing of 30 tons rice paddy a day. For one year this line can process 7,500 tons. It is serviced by one operator, three workers, one laboratory assistant controlling the quality of the produce and one technician. It is this staff’s obligation to accept the raw material, control the quality and storage and supply the necessary quantities of produce. This is possible because 80% of the processes are mechanised and automated.
Processing 7,500 tons of rice paddy, at an yield of 64%, we produce 4,800 tons of first quality rice.
